Job Description:	Web Analyst/Developer This is an exciting opportunity for a talented Web Analyst/Developer to join a company at the leading edge and take on board the responsibility for developing, maintaining and supporting their infrastructure. Below are the activities that you can expect to be involved in: * Designing and developing new software or modifying existing software to meet new or changed business requirements in accordance with client standards. * Analysing new or changed business requirements and liaising with clients and other staff as required. * Ensuring all deliverables for Projects (including documentation, etc) are delivered in a timely manner. This may include activities outside of regular working hours. * Participating in code reviews (aimed at promoting the standards followed by the development team). * Providing technical assistance and guidance as required to other staff. * Providing on-call support on a rotational basis to meet the support obligations of our maintenance agreements. To be a serious contender for this role you'll need good working knowledge and industry experience of majority of the following - * ASP.Net & Classic ASP * VB.Net and/or C#, Visual Basic 6 * SQL Server 2000/5: T-SQL * Programming with XML including using XPath and XLST * Web Services & SOAP * Microsoft Internet Hosting environment accompanied by experience of SQL Server 2000/5 Administration for Application Deployment purposes and a good working knowledge of the Software Development Cycle.
